Sandra & Em introduces June. She is Em’s 6 (almost 7!) year old daughter. She is in first grade and loves gymnastics and art.

Sandra and Em listen to June’s answers to questions and notice:

  • She gives a lot of nonverbal responses – typical for a child who prefers Introversion
  • She brings up Kindergarten (last year) a lot. How she makes sense of her present is by comparing it to the past.
  • She is very observant of the rules and structure of a situation. Knowing what days in school they do certain activities and the fact that in her art class they have to be quiet because there is a spa next door.
  • She really cares about how her friends feel – when a friend is upset she wants to cheer her up. This is common in kids who use Extraverted Feeling (Relational Feeling)
  • She really does not like to be late! She talked a lot about being late to gymnastics although Em clarifies that they have only ever been late one time
